Despite the absence of the 2008 winner and Armidale secret weapon Billy O’Mara, a strong contingent of Armidale riders contested Nemingha - Nundle on Sunday 24 May.

The first intake of the NIAS cycling program was inducted on Saturday 16 May.
From Armidale, Mitch Bullen qualified automatically as an NSWIS rider.
In addition Pat Ainsworth, Cody Burton and Ben Castle made the Rising Star Program.
Congratulations go to all four for achieving this honour, and we wish them luck with the program.

The Jenners and the Burtons flew the flag for Armidale at the Gunnedah Criteriums on 9 May.
Best performed was Big Dave, who not only won C grade but also both sprints. On a tough circuit this was a very impressive effort.
Cody Burton also rode in C grade, while Craig rode in D grade.
