Now for the news you’ve all been waiting for … the first round of the 2009 Club Championships will be this Saturday 13 June, starting at 2pm sharp.

First race of the six round series will be a 30km road race on Dangarsleigh Road.

This should be a keenly contested series with the early money favouring the two Mitches, Bullen and Sozou. John Scott-Hamilton and Andrew Kirk will be thereabouts, and Col Maciver who has already won three NSW masters titles in 2009 will no doubt pop up somewhere along the way.

And of course we’re all expecting big things from last year’s B grade winners as they make the jump to A grade
