NSW Junior Road Championships
Armidale Cycling Club and the University of New England are pleased to host the NSW Junior Road Championships in 2012. The event will take place in Armidale on the weekend of 11-12 August, with time trials and criteriums on Saturday 11 August, and road races on the morning of Sunday 12 August.
The event is open to male and female riders from all states who are members of Cycling Australia in U9 to U17 age categories. Eligible riders can enter via the Cycling NSW website.
Armidale is a great place to ride and race bikes, with a number of quiet country roads for training and an active cycling club which is very supportive of junior cycling. The University of New England offers excellent educational and sporting opportunities for young athletes, and has recently introduced new sports and exercise science degrees.
