Now that I have your attention, don’t forget to sign on and pay your entry fee before racing. It might not seem that important, but it’s actually  a pretty common part of bike racing.

Riders even sign on at the Tour, so there’s no reason we can’t take the time to do the same. Of course Tour riders don’t have to dip into their pockets for $3 before each stage, but that’s only because they don’t have to pay the council for use of the track like we do.
