Mitch Bullen is currently competing in this event and doing very well!  I don’t think I’ve even seen 70km/h on the downhill into Uralla with a massive tailwind, but Mitch averaged that speed in the Elite men sprint qualifying round.  His 4th place was enough to put him through to round 1, being raced today.

Mitch went on to win his heat over Nathan Corrigan-Martella, only to be disqualified in the quarter finals in a racing incident.  Still an impressive showing from Mitch.
