Report from Phil Thomas

On the weekend of 29-30 January Pat Mcmillan and I were up at Goondawindi for the Hell of the West . Pat did the whole thing (26th in his category) in – 4:55:40 and I did a ride in a team (approx 2:26:00 for 82.5k). Pat still managed to finish the ride about 1 min 30 sec faster than me. My team was in the mixed section category and and we came in at 4:49:38 in 8th position. I am sure Pat would agree that a 80K time trial over flat road is a very different challenge.
