Walking Wounded Spotting post Nemingha-Nundle

Bob Weston, Lachie McPhie and Ice Cold Billy Mara were involved in a crash on Sunday at the Nemingha-Nundle – all three have now been spotted alive and well. Sorta. Bob has an impressive egg above his right eye (and passed out in the hospital), Lachie seems to be missing chunks of skin from his arm and Billy is nursing an elbow with a nasty bit of road rash on it.

Get better soon guys.

Adam Bourke won the 40km race from Jackie Weston (well done!) and Joel Bartlett from Tamworth won the 100km that Ayllie and I thought we had in the bag at the 85km mark.

Tough race – would have been easier with more helpers but Ayllie and I have ridden together quite a bit this year and felt semi-professional, swapping turns wordlessly and playing our respective strengths (her: metronome cadence, speed, hillclimbing; me: wheel sucking, crying, wincing and aching).

Post your stories in comments.  Official results will be posted later today by the Tamworth club.
