After a hiatus of a couple of years, Tamworth CC are once more hosting the John Dewhurst as an interclub event. It will be held on Saturday 28 April as a 60km handicap race on Moore Creek Road.

This race has always been worth the trip down to Tamworth: it has traditionally been a good warm-up event for our road race the following weekend, and one in which Armidale has had some good results in the past. The Sozou brothers went 1-2 in 2006, and a couple of years later Chicka Russell and Bruce Buxton repeated their feat.
