The Cannibal showed up on his full time trial rig, which was apparently a sight to behold – it was so sleek and so slick it has been christened “mothers little helper”.  Ordinarily these specialist machines are reserved for use in tri-dork-athlons but so seriously was he taking the event that he decided only the proper equipment would do.  Lachie Harris rode 20km in exactly the same time as the cannibal rode the 30km to be given equal first place:  What a sing-song dance, what a performance!
