The 100km Mt Yarrowyck handicap for 2013 has been run and won, with Darren Traill from Tamworth getting up for the win (well done Trailly!). Tamworth dominated the placings with Jeremy Bartlett 2nd and John Clissold 3rd, and Kieran Lewis winning fastest time in 2:23:58. 4th and 5th places went to Inverell riders Matthew Ellis and Curtis Pringle.
Best placed Armidale riders were Wilfried Keller (showing the benefits of a trimmed down figure and dedicated training program) in 9th place and Geoff Flatt 11th, with Dave Munday riding strongly to finish in 2:27:00.
Also good to see a strong contingent of riders from the Murwillumbah and Northern Rivers make the trip over and contribute to a great race.
The 30km race was won by Sam Munday, who also recorded fastest time, with Jo Wauch 2nd and Vincent Bush from Murwillumbah third.
Thanks to all those who helped make the day such a success.
