In a great result for the club, Armidale riders won a total of seven championship medals last weekend.

First cab off the rank was Sam Jenner who won a silver medal in the time trial at the Australian junior road championships in Wagga. Sam rode the 14km course in a time of 19:22.40, for a super fast average speed of 43.36kmh.

Col Maciver also won silver in the time trial at the NSW masters championships at Goulburn in the Masters 8 category, finishing second to Alan Spokes from Tamworth. Col turned the tables in the criterium and road race, winning gold in both events.

Finally, Jo Wauch won a silver in the time trial in the Women’s Masters 6 category, and then backed that up with silver in the criterium and bronze in the road race.
