My phone tells me the forecast for Saturday is ‘clearing shower’, 20% chance of rain, amount < 1mm, and a maximum temp of 22. In other words, nothing to stop us racing!

So no matter what your current state of fitness is, get on out to Long Swamp Road and earn some points for Armidale in our interclub road race with Tamworth. The current points standings are Tamworth on 87 and Armidale on 34, so we have a bit of catching up to do. Remember that lining up for the start earns us points. And winning is even better!

One thing potentially in our favour is that some of the Tamworth guys are going to ride up to the race, and hopefully they’ll be worn out by the time they get here (then again, they looked to me like they were really fit in Goulburn last weekend).

We start at the usual time of 2pm, with the format being graded scratch races over 30km (A, B, and C grades). Race entry is $5.
