With the TEC track looking like a large piece of swiss cheese, activities were switched to Dangarsleigh Road at the last moment. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to record any times or the actual handicaps so, tempting as it is to just make a whole load of stuff up,  it’s a Results Only affair this week unless someone can provide more details 🙁

Several riders did comment that it was an excellent race however with very high (40kph) average speeds and while the early groups stayed well ahead of the chasing pack(s) it was still viewed as a competitive event.  Except by Jeff who punctured, something confirmed by several riders as they rode past him, and off into the distance, and the pub… sorry Jeff, sag wagon back in action next week. And we’ll be at Long Swamp with motion detection cameras recording times for each leg, and ruthlessly exposing any short-turning behaviour!
