This Sunday, October 19th, we are trialing a women-only road ride. The ride will be led by one of our Club Vice-Presidents, Karlee McMillan and leave the Armidale Bicycle Centre on Beardy Street at 7:30am for a relaxed, sociable ride of around 30km.
If you’ve already got experience as a female road rider then great – this ride is for you and we’d love to see you on Sunday morning. If you haven’t ridden much before or you’re not used to road riding or riding in a group then the ride is still for you! Just give Armidale Bicycle Centre a call on 02 6772 3718 beforehand to let them know you’re planning on coming and ask them as many questions as you like. They’ll be able to help you out and they’ll also let Karlee know to look out for you on Sunday.
The rest of the women will be welcoming and supportive and it doesn’t matter if you are fast or slow. Riding with a group is a great opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and enjoy riding your bike with a friendly group of people so come along and give it a go!
