Local Armidale celebrity Troy Johnson has organised a cracker of an event to help raise sponsorship funds for Armidale Cycling Club member, and former Club Champion, David Munday who is riding in the 2016 Tour de Cure Signature Tour.
Dave is tackling the 1,520km challenge at the end of April to raise funds for cancer research, support and prevention projects and knows through personal experience how vital this work is.
The fundraiser is a Long Lunch at the St Kilda Hotel, Armidale on February 12th from 2-6pm. It promises to be a cracker of a day with guests including Miracle Mal Johnston and TK from the Big Sports Breakfast. Tickets are $100, available from Carrs Newsagency, St Kilda Hotel or you can buy them online here.
You can also donate directly to Dave’s Tour de Cure fundraiser page, or at any branch of New England Mutual, or by transfering to (BSB 932 000, Account 745 421 S3, Tour de Cure Fundraiser Account).
Armidale Cycling Club appreciates any support you can give to this great cause and Troy is available to answer any questions you might have on 0408 711 622.
