Want to be a Cycling Coach?

Have you ever considered becoming a cycling coach? Coaching is a great way to challenge your ability to communicate, plan, increase your knowledge and most of all, help others achieve their goals.

If this sounds like you, then we have some great news for you. The Armidale and Tamworth Cycling Clubs have successfully negotiated to co-host the next Road & Track Skills, scheduled for the weekend of 30th June /1st July.  In doing so, we’ve managed to keep the costs to the participants to a minimum. Day 1 will be held in Armidale and Day 2 in Tamworth. The cost of the course is $250 and will be covered in full by the Armidale Cycling Club. In addition to attending the course, you will be required to hold an accreditation in administering first aid. If you do not currently have a first aid accreditation, our club will cover that cost as well. Although spaces are limited, we do have a few spots left . Travel to and from Tamworth, along with any meals will need to be covered by participants.

In return, the Armidale Cycling Club would require you to contribute back to the club in the form of volunteering your time to assist with the development of riders within the cycling community. With the focus being on juniors at the moment, this would translate into approximately 1-2 hours per month with the running of the junior program under the guidance of the Club Development Officer (Chris Stace).
