Tamworth have set the dates for the John Dewhurst memorial race (30th of April, the saturday before the Mt Yarrowyck 100km) and the Nemingha-Nundle (15th of May). The clash with the Yarrowyck race could either mean an epic weekend or less numbers for both races:
Finally, A fundraising event in Taree on the 30th of April:
Hi my name is Kelle Nicholson
I am a member of the manning valley cycle club and on behalf of the club I am organising a fund raising bike ride, in memory of Harold Greenhalgh who recently died of melanoma. It’s going to be held on the 30th of April, at the Taree crit track behind the hockey fields. It will be held over a 6hr period time, all of the funds raised are going to the Australian melanoma foundation to help with their research into a cure for melanoma. It will be $20 entry fee per person but other donations will be accepted. Registration will be open from 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon behind the hockey fields in Taree. riding on the track will commence at 3:00pm and conclude at 9:00pm . You can have either a team to complete the 6hrs or if your daring enough to try and do the whole hrs on your own. For the teams: at least one member of the team must be on the track at all times. There will also be a BBQ available for dinner throughout the 6hrs, we are looking for as much community help and support to try and make this day worth while and enjoyable. The more donations the better.
For any further information or inquires please callKelle on 0413804169.
sorry guys typo hope to hear back from you soon
