Col “Medals” Maciver took Griffith by storm again on the weekend with three gold medals at the 2015 NSW Masters Road Championships.

On Saturday he trounced the opposition, coming home 2m:26s ahead of his nearest rival in the 51k combined Masters 9/10 road race. He backed this up on Sunday in the criterium which he won by a full lap and 40s and then on Monday he finished the whole thing off in style by winning the individual time trial with a time for the 18k course of 25m:35.68s. Just to put that into perspective, aside from being almost 4 minutes quicker than the next best time in his category, that was within a minute of the winning Masters 5, 6 and 7 times and quicker than the winning Masters 8 time!

And not to be outdone, Jo Wauch also got in the medals, collecting a bronze in each of the Women’s Masters 6 road race and individual time trial. Finishing in the bunch in the criterium and road race Jo just missed out on Silver by 1 second.
