Despite some teriffic warm spring weather, numbers were down on Dangarsleigh this week for Round 19 of the Road Racer competition. The 14 starters were split into 3 bunches chased down by a pair of Munday’s who didn’t mange to make contact as the bigger bunches swelled ahead. Richard Wilko and Wilf were off Go and the pair successfully made it to the turn before being snaffled by their two-minute chasers. With the extra firepower this six-strong group then managed to hold off a further five chasers until Knobs Road when they were overcome by Dave and Holly Harris, Paul ‘Hammy’ Williams, Col  and Peter Hosking who had worked really well together to reel them in. Managing to hang with this group, Tom, Wilko and Keglegs were well positioned over the final rise when the latter decided to go from a long way out only for Col to use more of that famous tactical nous and come round him on the line to edge the win with Holly comfortably taking third spot.

Tom and Wilko grabbed the last bonus RROTY points and with Dave Munday not getting a look in this week Richard Wilkinson extends his lead at the top of the table to 9 points now with just four rounds remaining.
