Calling all Athletes

Are you interested in participating in a sports science study at UNE investigating the influence of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on ageing and gene modifications? Are you healthy and between 18 to 70 years old? You may be eligible to participate in a study involving maximal fitness testing (VO2max), HIIT and molecular testing.

The benefits to participants include:

  1. Free testing (VO2max, ventilatory threshold, Pmax, FTP and peak power and Wingate tests) that would normally cost $300
  2. Info on what the results mean and how to improve performance
  3. Comparison to Chris Froome’s data
  4. A good experience and helping Sports Science research at UNE
