Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2017 Mountain Bike Australia XCO National Series are being held right here in Armidale on the Australia Day long weekend. Our friends over at NEMTB are asking for help with volunteer marshals for the event so if you can spare a chunk of 3 hours over the Saturday 28th or Sunday 29th January then get in touch with them (contact details below).

Even if you can’t help out, make sure you get over to SportUNE to cheer on our local riders of which there are many, including of course Armidale Cycling Club members Holly Harris, Michael Harris, David Cook, Emily Wooster, Katherine Hosking, Isabella Hosking, Sam King plus other locals including Jack Feltham, Fergus McQueen, Nick Chisholm, Harry Wooster and more!

If all that wasn’t enough then there are also a few familiar roadies out there doing pretty well too – Peter Horwood is currently sitting 4th in Masters 2 and Ethan Kelly is 3rd in Elite Men.
