The Mount Yarrowyck Road Race Carnival will be held on Sunday 1 May, starting from Mount Yarrowyck on Thunderbolt’s Way between Uralla and Bundarra.
A map of the full route is shown below. Click this link to see the route on Bikely including the elevation profile. All distances use the same start-finish and same road out and back: the 100km race turns in Bundarra, while the 20 and 40km races turn 10 and 20km from the start.
Three handicap races will be held over 20, 40 and 100km, with $1200 prize money. Riders in all age categories are eligible to enter the 20 and 40km races, while the 100km race is open to U19 and older riders.
Race entry
Entry fees are:
- Juniors (to U17): $5 pre-entry, or $10 on the line
- Seniors (U19 and above): $10 pre-entry, or $15 on the line
Pre-entry means you tell us you are coming so we can get a fair handicap. But you don’t need to pay until the day of the race. Send your pre-entry to Mark Bullen at Armidale Bicycle Centre, phone 02 6772 3718, or email armcycles@bluepin.net.au, indicating the distance you wish to ride.
