Results are in from the 2016 NSW Masters Road Championships and Armidale riders have been in the medals yet again.  Congratulations to Jo Wauch for Gold in the WMAS7 Road Race, Silver in the Criterium and Silver in the ITT, and Col Maciver comes home with Bronze in the MMAS9 Road Race and Gold in the ITT. Great work Jo and Col!

And some fantastic news ahead of the World Masters Road Championships which are being held in Perth towards the end of this year. As current National Champion, Col has been invited to represent Australia – an incredible and thoroughly deserved honour and one that we will watch with great interest back home in Armidale. Just to put Col’s ITT time at the State Masters this weekend into perspective, his time of 32:48.76 for the hilly 22.1km course was not only good enough to win him the Masters 9 Gold medal by 40 seconds, but it would have netted the same Gold medal in Masters 8, Bronze in Masters 7, 4th place in Masters 6 and a top-10 place in Masters 5 and 4.
