Armidale Cycling Club riders Holly Harris and Sam Jenner both competed in the National Capital Tour on 16-18th September. The event consisted of four stages – an individual time trial, road race, kermesse and a criterium.

Holly was the highest placed rider from Hogs Breath Tinelli finishing 16th in the General Classification after the fourth stage, just 4:18s down on winner Lucy Kennedy (HFD) and 5th overall in the Young Rider classification.

Sam was racing with his Subaru NSWIS team, and finished 17th on GC after the fourth stage, 1:53s down on winner Joseph Cooper (AIW). Subarus NSWIS finished 4th overall, just 4s behind the New Zealand National Team.

Inverell’s Dylan Sunderland also had a great tour, finishing third overall on GC and second in the Young Rider classification.
