Daylight Savings Time is here and with warmer weather on its way you now have the perfect excuse for sneaking out of work a little earlier on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to join the ACC club rides. On Tuesday we head out West on Boorolong Road from the UNE Rock and on Thursday we go South on Dangarsleigh Road, both departing at 5:30pm sharp. These events have a ‘sociable training’ focus for reasonably experienced riders and while most riders are club members, this isn’t essential.

For those new to the sport, wanting to gain some more road riding experience, or just wishing to take things a little more easily, there is generally also a Tuesday 5:30pm Ride on Dangarsleigh Road, weather and numbers permitting.

In addition to all of this, don’t forget the regular Sunday morning rides which leave Armidale Bicycle Centre on Beardy St at 7:00am.

And now that we’ve moved into daylight savings time, don’t forget that Saturday racing now starts at 4:00pm (see Calendar for details)
