We’ve had a few little problems with the locking of the gates to the criterium track from time to time and on occasion we’ve locked other users of the facility in, and/or made it impossible for them to unlock the chain themselves. It is a simple process when someone has shown you how but to date we haven’t provided any really clear instructions for club members.

So, you’ll be delighted to hear that we now have an updated Race Day page on this website. As well as explaining the duties for the person rostered-on, it also provides some images of how to and how not to lock the gate.

If everyone in the club could spend a little bit of time familiarising themselves with the updated instructions and ensure they understand them, that would be really good for our club and for other users of the track.
