Return to racing in 2012
January 5th, 2012 · No Comments
This weekend sees our first club racing for the year for both juniors and seniors. The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that we have criteriums on the program for the rest of January. We haven’t put anyone on duty officially, but the Juniors and their parents will be helping out with the senior races.
If you have not renewed your license for 2012 you will not be able to race, so please take care of this before you turn up. For 2012 a company named IMG took over on-line license renewals. They sent emails to current members a couple of months ago with instructions on how to renew. However, some people did not receive the email. If you are in that boat, you should be able to renew by going to the Cycling Australia web site and following the instructions in the Membership section. Alternatively, Wilfried will have forms on Saturday which you can fill out, but bring money to pay for the membership if you want to race immediately.

Tamworth Inter Club Carnival
January 5th, 2012 · No Comments
February the 4th is scheduled as an inter-club track racing carnival in Tamworth, with the 5th being used for an inter club criterium carnival near the velodrome on the “hot dog” track. Here’s hoping that “hot dog” doesn’t mean red, greasy and covered in mustard.
Contact Kevin Bartlett Cycles in Tamworth to register your interest in these events so they can get some idea of numbers, and ask him if he still has the Channel 9 Camaro parked behind the shop somewhere.
